MFA in May!

Last weekend was a land-mark in my MFA career. My thesis was due Monday, and some cruel English department fiends decided to administer the MFA exam that same weekend, so that it was due on Monday too. I scrambled to fully revise my thesis by Thursday, because the exam was a 4 day take-home that started on Friday.

I wrote 23 pages!

On Saturday, at around 2 pm, I heard my mom's phone buzz from the gate to our apartment. We both started screaming, "Who is it? Is it Jared?!" And it was Jared.

He brought me Kara's cupcakes!!!

I quickly devoured them.

Then, on Sunday when I was all done, that SWEET FIANCE brought me MORE presents!!


So I have turned both the exam and the thesis in, and now I only have to worry that I messed up the forms or switched them or turned them in to the wrong office... and to second-guess my whole writing ethic!! :)
I'm still in a poetry writing workshop for a few more weeks, but then I will be a Master of Fine Arts! WHAT?!
