postponed post

i have wanted to blog something intelligent about these images (here and here) but i've got nothing and i'm tired of them in my bookmarks... they are cool...

i also tried to find images of this awesome project, construction as canvas, to no avail. when jared took me to pittsburgh after txgiving, there was an area of the downtown under construction. the orange net fencing had been decorated with all kinds of construction materials, though, so beautifully! upsidedown cones turned into planters, giant flowers made of reflectors, caution tape garlands. it was really lovely (and bright orange!).

the final art item i wish i could say something powerful about is this one. i love "The Wise Man" and "On the Line." such worshipful images! they just transport me instantly! she may or may not be the artist who did this print (i can't find it online anymore):
oh. i am so like this chubby stubbly con. fear. perceived autonomy. living as if chained and condemned by something that has been made nothing. this picture is gospel truth!
