off the clock

i'm trying to make my office space my own.

currently there are posters of previous sermon series (which i like) and some nature photographs by an old acquaintance of the pastor (which i honestly don't like, and in fact, i tripped over my network cable which goes up into the ceiling and knocked one off the wall and broke the glass, oops!).

but this is what i'm daydreaming about for the wall behind my desk:

clock from target

frames from pottery barn (as if)

how majestic are these papers from paper source?  i adore them.  they remind me of the framed picture that takes the children to Narnia in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.  they also remind me of my tendency to drown in superficiality, rage, and despair, respectively.  haha!

Do they also remind you of the waves of God's grace that wash away all your imperfections?

"Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.

You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea."

Micah 7:18-19

You are depraved sweet love, but Your Father sees you only as the purity of Christ. Dwell on His love for you...it's so much deeper than your sin.
