"30 days" of thankful?

i read well-written blogs and i just know i have "room for growth" with this one. UNdisciplined.

i jumped into a series w/o really counting the cost and stopped after like 2 posts. so i'm going to post a long list here to catch up. b/c i really am thankful!!

4. grace church. where i learned the value of community to help me keep short accounts in my marriage and even be able to process my own thoughts. where i learned how beautiful corporate worship is (ie heaven!!). where the music, teaching, and people are the best.

5. jared + freddy of course, but i'm going to try to be more specific.


6. the way my bro's and sis love freddy. i didn't expect that!

7. jared and i got in a big fight the other night and he used a mean tone of voice. i'm so thankful we rarely fight like that!!

8. avocados. freddy likes them now.

9. this weekend my family played a card game where some people try to sabotage the rest of the players. i'm thankful that when i had to be saboteur my brother jordan was one too so i wasn't all alone : )

10. iphones :)

11. internet. no thanks to att. oops that's not properly thankful.

12. and netflix.

13. so we can watch hoarders every night. i am thankful for cognitive behavioral therapy. don't want to enter any fray about what kind of counseling etc, just saying the show is helping me learn some basic skills that i think most human beings already know. like taking responsibility for my feelings.

14. thankful for our beautiful home.

15. and for daydreaming about where in this 2-bedroom to put future children so we can live here forever.

16. fast-drying brown nail polish so my nails can dry before freddy wakes up :)

17. bird clips on the open chips in my pantry.

18. my very nice breast pump so i can entice freddy with milk in his solids.

19. my long-distance besty tiffany.

20. amazon wishlists so i can binge-list things instead of binge-spending!!

21. i am thankful for jared's happiness in his work.

22. i am thankful that my family is all alive.

23. that my parents' friend filmed our wedding and reception FOR FREE when we asked him to at the last minute.

24. that jared's big brother made a slideshow for our rehearsal dinner.

25. that i found those dvds last night and made jared watch them with me (not the whole wedding).

27. the fact that i somehow deleted this entire post but still had the draft in my blogger iphone app. PTL!!
