insanity @ albany bulb

saturday we took a "stroll" at a strange place called "albany bulb" -- apparently it used to be a dump and now it is a homeless colony. jared picked it. it did have a beautiful view of the city though. which we did not document properly:

our son looks like a crazy person. too much going on. too many patterns. and the <3 measuring cup (1/3 cup) is his royal sceptre. "mother you may approach" he waves it at me.

we were majorly off-roading it at the albany bulb. or is it at just albany bulb? jagged concrete stepping stones, seaweed, mud, bricks, rebar sticking out of the ground. jared as usual declined to use the wrist strap for the bob. and as usual freddy was perfectly safe with his father.

as we were walking past the homeless colony i admit i was a little scared that someone was going to attack us, so this figure startled me quite a bit.

i thought it was Jesus but now i'm not so sure. check out the foot detail! meticulous!

i said to jared, "these would be a LOVELY txgiving centerpiece" and he proceeded to mock me mercilessly. i meant a plume or 2, not the whole 8' bush!

then it started raining. it is truly lovely to get caught in the rain with my tiny family.
