well after my manic january, i am morally + creatively depleted.  surprise, surprise, puppy surprise.  

this was my intentional home project, which i did do on wednesday, but was too demoralized to blog about until now, haha.

still working on the living room (my list):

bad lighting and bad staging, but nonetheless very pleasing to me.  my mom even made the trip to her house that is for sale 40 mins away so i didn't have to.  thanks mom!  i didn't used to like this furniture, but now i like the texture it adds very much.  i feel convicted about the sloppy top.  needs a tray for the remotes and everything else in a drawer!

the sad face is b/c he is teething like a maniac today.  

he loves his new area, i promise. 

i left the books with thick pages that he hasn't seemed to harm (lemony snicket, dear america diary series (barf)), added some dvds (and might move all our dvds here?), and spread his toys out on the other shelves.  

i moved the top shelf of books on the left bookcase up to the top of the case and packed the bottom shelf in that striped ikea bin.  i boxed up all the other books from the bookcase on the right and they will go in my closet for now, until i get us a bookcase in our bedroom.  

of course today he pulled up to the top of the bookcase.  of course.  we'll see how long those books can stay...

considering participating in this weekly project, just for fun.  a lot of my "goals" are cost-prohibitive, since this home is so much larger than our first home and i have big decorating dreams, but i really have a lot of purging/ organizing type goals that i should attack as well.

here is my intention for each room, followed by a list of goals -- both projects and purchases (i do have a little christmas money for these items, but beyond that i want to practice adhering to my budget and planning my spending).

LIVING AREA
a gorgeous comfy room where freddy can freely roam and jared can relax and find his stuff.
